Sustainability at BloomFolk Living

We started as a print-on-demand shop partly because it's a more sustainable way to make things. Here's what that means in practice.

Made to order — no overstock

Every product is made when you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting to be bought or eventually thrown away. No overproduction, no unsold stock, no waste from excess inventory.

Printed locally where possible

We work with print partners who operate facilities across Europe, which means your order is typically produced as close to you as possible — reducing the distance it travels to reach your door.

Quality over quantity

We'd rather make fewer, better things than flood the market with fast products. Our designs are made to be kept, used and loved — not quickly discarded. A tea towel that makes you smile every morning is a tea towel that doesn't get replaced.

Packaging

We use minimal, recyclable packaging. No unnecessary plastic, no excessive filler. Just enough to protect your order on its way to you.

Paper products

Our greeting cards and gift wrap are printed on FSC-certified paper from responsibly managed forests.

Room to improve

We're honest: print on demand isn't perfect, and we're always looking at ways to reduce our footprint further — from packaging choices to shipping consolidation. We'll update this page as things change.
